Traditional Cacio e Pepe flavours, Creamy and Authentic.

Authentic cacio e pepe without the technique anxiety. This cream by Alpenzu captures the essence of Rome's iconic pasta dish – aged Pecorino Romano, cracked black pepper, and cream – in a jar you can spoon directly onto hot pasta. Traditional cacio e pepe requires precise timing and constant stirring to emulsify cheese with pasta water. This version gives you the same sharp, peppery, creamy result in the time it takes to boil spaghetti.

What's inside: Italian Pecorino Romano DOP (the sharp, salty sheep's milk cheese that defines the dish), cream for richness and smooth texture, black pepper (not just for flavor – the pepper's slight heat is essential to cacio e pepe), and salt. No thickeners, no fillers, no weird additives. Just the four ingredients you'd use if making it from scratch, pre-combined so they won't separate or clump.

How to use it: Boil pasta (spaghetti, tonnarelli, or rigatoni work best). Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain pasta, return to pot. Add 3-4 tablespoons of this cream per person while pasta is still steaming hot. Toss vigorously. If too thick, add pasta water 1 tablespoon at a time. Finish with a drizzle of Timperio Nobile EVOO and extra black pepper. Serve immediately. The whole process from draining pasta to plating takes 90 seconds.

Beyond pasta: Spread on crostini. Stir into risotto at the end. Toss with roasted vegetables. Use as a dip for breadsticks. Melt over grilled chicken. The Pecorino-pepper combination works anywhere you want sharp, savory, creamy flavor. 140 g = 3-4 servings. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 5 days.
