What our clients ask
Truffle Collection FAQ
Are your truffle products made with real truffles?
Yes. Every product in this collection is made with genuine Italian truffles, including premium white truffle (Tuber magnatum) or black truffle (Tuber aestivum), depending on the product.
What's the difference between truffle oil and truffle sauce?
Truffle oil is designed as a finishing oil that is drizzled over cooked dishes to add aroma and flavor. Truffle sauces and spreads contain real truffle blended with mushrooms, herbs, and extra virgin olive oil, making them ideal for spreading, stirring into recipes, or using as a topping.
Can I cook with truffle oil?
We recommend using truffle oil only as a finishing oil. High heat can diminish its delicate aroma, so drizzle it over food after cooking for the best flavor.
What dishes pair best with truffle products?
Truffle products are delicious with pasta, risotto, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, pizza, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, fries, popcorn, crostini, and creamy soups.
How much truffle product should I use?
A little goes a long way. Start with about a teaspoon and adjust to taste. The rich, earthy flavor is highly concentrated, so small amounts deliver excellent results.
What's the difference between your standard Truffle Oil and Founder's Reserve Truffle Oil?
Founder's Reserve is crafted with single-estate extra virgin olive oil from our family groves and contains a higher concentration of white truffle, creating a more intense, refined flavor for special occasions.
Are these products made in Italy?
Yes. Our truffle products are crafted in Italy using authentic Italian ingredients and traditional expertise.
Do truffle products need refrigeration?
Only after opening. Truffle sauces and spreads should always be refrigerated once opened. Truffle oils do not require refrigeration but should be stored in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed.
